Great location, really close to a historic area. It's in a quiet spot with restaurants and stores nearby. The staff are super friendly and they take care of the parking on-site. 🌟

The hotel is in a great location, adjacent to an excellent chocolate and gift shop as well as the Publyk House. The rooms are well-maintained, brand-new, and have a nice adjoining terrace, WiFi, and a couch. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was good. The staff was nice all around and the check-in was quick. Free parking onsite was provided. What a fantastic stay, nothing was too much trouble.

my recent stay here in shaftsbury was absolutely perfect. governor's rock motel exceeded all my expectations for a romantic getaway. the check-in was quick, the room was cozy and well-equipped with snacks and amenities, and the view of the mountains from the front porch chair was breathtaking. highly recommend!

We loved having a patio with a barbecue outside and the convenience of a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot in the room. The complimentary coffee and condiments were a nice touch. The grounds were lovely and well-kept, adding to the serene atmosphere. The location was ideal, with easy access to Bennington and Manchester. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again when in the area.
